Currently offering a Level 1 (beginner), Level 1 Concealed (moderate), Level 2 (advanced) and a Level 3 (tactical) hangun training. Read below for the details of each course.  You may bring any gear for Hunter Corp to review.  Please be sure to bring everything on the gear list, especially your ID.

Level 1 Handgun​  -   Course goal: Basic marksmanship and safety.

 

THIS COURSE WILL QUALIFY YOU FOR YOUR CCW Permit or take a specific CCW class HERE.

 

Learn and demonstrate the basic fundamentals of marksmanship and handgun safety. The shooter will engage paper and steel targets from various yard lines. Shooters will demonstrate combat and tactical reloads. The shooter will clear all levels of malfunctions. Students will identify the parts of a handgun. They will be shown handgun accessories, holsters, cleaning gear and guns and ammo buying advice.

Level 1 Concealed Handgun​   -   Course goal:  Develop the techniques to employ a concealed handgun).

 

Once you have completed the level I or equivalent training course, you will be able to take the Concealed Level I Course. This whole course is conducted from the concealed holster. We will reinforce the basic fundamentals of marksmanship, shoot from various yard lines on steel and paper targets. Shooting from barriers while engaging multiple targets. Discuss room clearing.

Level 2 Handgun​   -   Course goal:  Fast presentation from the holster.

 

Once you complete the level I class or show proof of equivalent training, you can start the level II class. This course will reinforce the fundamentals of marksmanship and handgun safety. The shooter will conduct all drills from a hip or drop holster only (I.E. no shoulder or ankle holsters). Shooters will engage paper and steel targets from various yard lines on multiple targets while conducting combat and tactical reloads. The student will clear all malfunction. Some courses of fire are timed.

Level 3 Hangun   -   Course goal: Faster more accurate shooting while dealing with stress).

 

Once you have graduated level II or show proof of equivalent training you can attend the level III course. This course consists of fast presentation from the waist holster or drop holster, conceal and open carry. You will engage multiple steel and paper targets from barriers and various shooting positions and distances. You will demonstrate shooting and moving, combat and tactical reloads, clearing malfunctions while under stress. Low light shooting, shooting using a flashlight, ballistic testing, primary and support one handed shooting and reloading.
